Put On Your Mask, and Be Amongst the Lovely-Hearted

Sometimes, we know the time has come to join the outer world. To literally leave our houses and get out of our routines. Yes, the World at Large is figuring out a post-pandemic reemergence, but where does that leave us?

Has there been a handy excuse not to move on in life? Yes, a scary, deadly virus is a grand reason to stop forward movement.

But even before this nightmare, were you using your job or other excuses to stay put? I mean we know that it is time for us to quote-unquote “get out there.” But for many of us, it feels impossible, simply because we don’t know how. “Get out there,” is such a general direction from people. It’s not specific enough.

The big wide-open world still beckons you. Life still calls us to make our mark and find our thing and be that way forever happily ever, ever, after.

That is not a bad thing. Empower yourself with internet ideas during this pandemic. The time to explore and make plans and decide on courses of real-world action are right now.

People need what you have. Gifts, talents, knowledge of many, many things. Share those to help others. Because at this moment in time, the world needs you. This assignment is bigger than the hole in your heart. Step away from it.

Not to trivialize or discount what you have experienced. I’m just asking you to put it into context. There’s the expression, “The grand scheme of things.” That is no more. The entire world has no grand scheme.

I have come up with sort of a kind of metaphysical way of getting myself back out there without putting myself under the pressure of forcing myself to go find something to do.

Let me explain.

I decided to let the outer world in. To experience it. I would simply go to a craft fair, and park my car with no expectations. Just to let the outer world in. In reality that lady at a craft fair trying to sell me a necklace, she was simply trying to make a living.

Forcing yourself to be amongst others, normal non-left, going-about-their-lives others, lets the outside world in. When you are able to experience that bustling world, it does have an effect on you. I came home feeling better, because I had been out of my pain and distracted by looking at pretty little crafts and things. I talked to really kind, interesting, creative artistic people. And I had strawberry lemonade made by boy scouts.

All of this letting the outside world in is not like you’re the nail and world is the hammer. It’s more like you’re a droplet in the ocean. But you have to put yourself out there to be able to experience these new things that will over time affect you, and change you and put you on a new course. Even if you have no concrete idea what that is going to be.

Stepping out of my created doom and gloom scenario forced me into reality. Simple, sunny, sterling silver and gemstone reality.

Is it time for you to experience the sparkly things in the world? To at least acknowledge they exist so days of darkness that feel so heavy can become trivial again? Not in a bad way but in a normal day way. Simple days can lay ahead. Twenty four hours breathing in fancy candles and someone’s homemade incense stick.

These other humans stood inside their homes and created these wares to light up someone else’s world. Who does that besides wonderful folks? When the time comes, put on your mask and be amongst the lovely-hearted. It’s time and you know it.

We all go through major life transitions when relationships end… Through this website, I will share my thoughts as I walk the path of “New-Self” discovery. It doesn’t matter which side of 50 you are on. The real question is, Are you ready to live life? To forge a Path of Your Own Making (For a change!)? Then stop dwelling over the What-Might-Have-Beens and join me. Share your thoughts here, comment on mine, and let’s do this together!
