Remember when you were a kid making snowflakes out of paper? All of the shapes and patterns created with a snip here or there? We had no idea what our snowflake would look like as we folded that paper in half, then thirds, and started creating on a whim. We’d have to wait for the unfolding of our snowflake’s premiere to view our entire creation.

This is how you can imagine getting through another holiday season. A snip here of an old cherished memory. A snip there for those uncertain years you slogged through.

Day after day, year after year, you felt something was changing but didn’t want to acknowledge it. You kept the snowflake folded. It was not the time.

But this year it is time to unfold the snowflake you’ve been fashioning. The one with the unique shape.

The twinkling surprise that has been on the tip of your heart. Waiting for your courageous action. Snip, snip, creating the new unique you.

No two snowflakes are alike.  All our beautiful. Just like you.

Drop the reservations you have about where you’ve been heading with all this life stuff. Forget the looming new year. See your lovely pattern unfold. Rejoice!
