Still Lurking? Time To Begin Your Lurk-Free Life

Are you still lurking on your Ex? Hovering around their Facebook or other online social media? Are you going into mutual friends’ feeds and checking his life out that way? Listen up.

If you are a lurking addict, it’s time to free yourself. I’m going to suggest going cold-turkey on lurking. It’s an itch you can’t scratch anymore, ever.

It seems our cellphones have become part of our bodies these days. Step one is to turn it off, put it in another room, and

A) Got to sleep (if nighttime)

B) Leave the house (grocery shop, new dress, walk, etc.

C) Leave inside the glovebox when waiting at the dentist, gyno, you get it.

D) Leave in another room while at home doing something constructive.

Because it’s time to live a Lurk-Free Life. Perhaps one day they’ll be a Lurkers Anonymous group you can join. Until then, realize there are many constructive, entertaining, and healthy activities you can do.

Why waste time being a Lurker? You didn’t get through a painful break-up to lurk. You did it to be happy.

Stop scratching that itch and go lurk in a constructive way on someone who’s worth the lurk. A musician, a politician, a philanthropist, a fashion designer. You get the idea. Or maybe stop lurking altogether and put more effort into being a lurkee. Get some interests that make people curious about you. Find out what your thing is! I’m not saying to get creepy lurkers like yourself. But I implore you to be a leader and not a follower. Especially at a time in your life that is over.

Stay in the new life you are building! Don’t divert your heart from it by living in a dark, murky shadow of the past. Where memories, well, can I say it? Lurk.

We all go through major life transitions when relationships end… Through this website, I will share my thoughts as I walk the path of “New-Self” discovery. It doesn’t matter which side of 50 you are on. The real question is, Are you ready to live life? To forge a Path of Your Own Making (For a change!)? Then stop dwelling over the What-Might-Have-Beens and join me. Share your thoughts here, comment on mine, and let’s do this together!
