We Can All Push Through

A viral video 🖥is trending today, where a Philadelphia school teacher has her students start each day vowing to “push through” adversities.  This positive reinforcement is much needed in all of our lives these days.  We all feel we are pushing through life’s never-ending obstacles.  We are all wondering, “When will the way be clear?” And we are tired of having to be the ones to do it!

I know as a woman who was walked out on, that I had literal walls to “climb over” before I could even start dealing with how to survive alone in this complicated world.  As adults, we don’t have an Authority figure we respect to suggest positive strategies to cope with life’s challenges. We have to do that for ourselves each and every day.  As women who have been left, the question is, where do we find the motivation to do this?   Where do we find that inner strength?🙏

Especially when the house we lived in is now just a pile of bricks on top of us, weighing us down.

“The way I decided to push through was to examine each and every piece of my past and decide exactly what to discard and what to keep.  I don’t recommend this method.”

It’s time consuming, painful, and actually is the opposite of pushing through!  It’s more like sifting through and who really needs to do that after a quarter of a century relationship?  Not you, let me tell ya!

If you are feeling crushed by the weight of anger and fear and lack of motivation and self-esteem in the wake of your imploded marriage then I offer you my sincere support and empathy. I know it’s hard to catch your breath and emerge from that hefty pile of grievances and regrets. But you know you can’t live under that pile anymore.  Cause that’s not a life.  The only option is to push through and become a strong woman 💪🏻standing tall and emerging from the relationship rubble into your new life.

We all go through major life transitions when relationships end… Through this website, I will share my thoughts as I walk the path of “New-Self” discovery. It doesn’t matter which side of 50 you are on. The real question is, Are you ready to live life? To forge a Path of Your Own Making (For a change!)? Then stop dwelling over the What-Might-Have-Beens and join me. Share your thoughts here, comment on mine, and let’s do this together!
