Remember when you were a girl spotting a tree with strong looking branches you could not wait another second to climb? Boldly dropping that schoolbag to the ground and hiking up with no plans or forethought? Branch by branch using stronger-everyday arms and legs, in no time flat the top was reached! The tree conquered! The reward was a view not possible at ground level. An achievement that would carry you to the next one, and the next.
What happened to that fearless girl? The one who always had scraped elbows and knees? The one who dreamed dreams that she only shared with her diary? You Are Still That Girl.
Time and years and disappointments piled up on you and you’ve been so busy dealing with the ground-level-life-stuff that you stopped looking skyward and considering taking on the Challenge of The Trees. Youthful life goals, imagined with no self imposed boundaries.
Take a moment, right now and ask, “What is my tree, and when am I finally going to climb it?”
If the answer does not appear right this moment, it’s okay. Once this old lingering question resurfaces, an amazing thing starts happening. You start looking! And when you look outside of the daily concerns of your inner world and out into Possibility Land…well, now that you’ve read this…I bet you know exactly where you’ll find it. So start climbing!
