Interpretation

Where you are now and how you feel about your life is open to interpretation – by you. The way you look at life and the world has changed with each decade. How you adapted to change, to relationships and career challenges in your twenties and thirties is not how you adapt now. You have hindsight to help make your choices. In some ways, this is great. You have a wealth of life experience to apply to the choices you make. But in some ways this “hindsight knowledge” could keep you from experiencing new things or reaching out to new people. It could cause you to remain frozen and still…but safe. You decide you know the outcome before you take the first step. That way you know you can’t get hurt. You think, “why bother?” because the last time you tried these things someone let you down or hurt you. You’ve got to find the way to re-interpret your life in a more positive way. Instead of “why bother”, how about “why not?” What do you have to loose vs. what do you want to gain out of this time of your life, right now, today, this moment? The answer to this is open, to your interpretation.

We all go through major life transitions when relationships end… Through this website, I will share my thoughts as I walk the path of “New-Self” discovery. It doesn’t matter which side of 50 you are on. The real question is, Are you ready to live life? To forge a Path of Your Own Making (For a change!)? Then stop dwelling over the What-Might-Have-Beens and join me. Share your thoughts here, comment on mine, and let’s do this together!
