Defy Your Doubt

Defy your doubt.

You got into the habit of thinking you were always wrong.  And now that you are on your own and making your life decisions, you must rid yourself of the “doubt habit.”

Your Ex used this as a psychological tactic to push you away.  If you pointed out an obvious relationship problem, he would mess with your head with statements like, “I don’t remember ever saying that,” “That never happened,” You’re just seeing everything “your way,” “I don’t know what you’re talking about,” “You’ll find a problem in anything won’t you?”  I’m sure you can add to the list quite easily.

Now that the Negative Questioner is no longer in your life, you must get him out of your head.  Do you find yourself doing this?  Starting thoughts with questions will not move you forward.  Don’t squelch your own optimistic ideas.  Don’t use, “But what ifs,” or “I’m not sure if I shoulds.”

You ARE sure!  In fact, you KNOW.  And because I know you know, there actually are ZERO what ifs.

I’m not making this up.

When you simply take action without stopping yourself you can accomplish anything.

It’s like when you’re in line and you see something on sale and you just throw it in your cart and buy it without a second thought.

Your life is now your Shopping Cart.  Throw in whatever you want.  Take it, it’s yours.  A new job, a new place to live, a new haircut, a new friend, a new class, a new point of view on your situation, etc., etc.

Life is a moving sidewalk that you control.  Keep going.  There’s no reason to step carefully, to pause, to overthink.  You’ve already done that a million times already and you were miserable.  There’s no longer anyone doubting what you think or say or do or plan.  You are a grown woman with plenty of Life Experience.  You can’t make a mistake by listening to your own inner knowingness.

Wisdom is leading you.

She lives inside you.

Take Her Hand.

She’s Been Waiting.

We all go through major life transitions when relationships end… Through this website, I will share my thoughts as I walk the path of “New-Self” discovery. It doesn’t matter which side of 50 you are on. The real question is, Are you ready to live life? To forge a Path of Your Own Making (For a change!)? Then stop dwelling over the What-Might-Have-Beens and join me. Share your thoughts here, comment on mine, and let’s do this together!
