How to Create Your Sacred Space

It’s so important to have a Sacred Space. I didn’t realize this, until I created one. What do I mean, exactly? A sacred space is an area you create with objects that bring you joy. It can be a side table that you see when you walk into your home. It can be an area on a patio. It can be your kitchen window sill – that’s where mine is!
What is in your Sacred Space? It can be anything that brings you joy. A rock you found on a vacation. A trinket someone special gave you. A little bottle of your favorite perfume, a pet’s toy, a knick-knack you made yourself. A piece of ribbon, one gorgeous earring because you lost the other one.
Why am I suggesting that you do this? Because, for me, when I had to move to a new space, it was very stressful. I felt out of sorts. I was overwhelmed with life-stuff, legal-stuff, material-stuff. Then I was walking one day, and I found a beautiful bird’s feather. I was compelled to pick it up. And when I put in on my windowsill, it looked lonely. So, I paired it with a little crystal I had. A lovely violet crystal. And then I realized that the sun came through that crystal in the morning and cast a lovely shadow. And I enjoyed this site while I was waiting for the tea kettle to boil. Now, it’s a fun little “project” finding these talisman that make me happy. Or hold special meaning to me. It really calms me down.
Do you need a Sacred Space? Does this sound like fun to you? Then begin your Sacred Space journey and see how you feel. Then let me know!

We all go through major life transitions when relationships end… Through this website, I will share my thoughts as I walk the path of “New-Self” discovery. It doesn’t matter which side of 50 you are on. The real question is, Are you ready to live life? To forge a Path of Your Own Making (For a change!)? Then stop dwelling over the What-Might-Have-Beens and join me. Share your thoughts here, comment on mine, and let’s do this together!
