Forge Ahead after a Breakup and Keep busy!

Hey Wallowers, cut it out.  I know how comfortable the Rabbit Hole is, but you must force yourself out of it, and into your new life.  Keep yourself busy.  Not in the day-to-day Breakup Details busy.  In the interest of you forging ahead to your next-best-life busy.  Is it a cooking class you always wanted to take?  Is it a new hairstyle?  Is it a trip to see an old friend?  Go.  Go do these things.  They will feed your soul.  You will meet cool people.  You will figure stuff out when you are not trapped in your old way of being.  I mean, don’t go CRAZY with it (Square Dancing?  Really?  Um. no.)  Even if you go away for a long weekend, four days or so.  It’s more than you’ve given yourself before, right Miss Caretaker of Everyone But You?   So do it.  Try it.  See what shakes out. Flowers are blooming literally and figuratively.  Go smell them.  Live. Your goal here is to be happy.  (Not to make anyone else happy)  Old patterns don’t lead to happy.  You know that.  So go forge new ones.  Go to the Grand Canyon.  Go.  Get on a plane and do it.  A new perspective.  Provided by nature.  What could be better?

We all go through major life transitions when relationships end… Through this website, I will share my thoughts as I walk the path of “New-Self” discovery. It doesn’t matter which side of 50 you are on. The real question is, Are you ready to live life? To forge a Path of Your Own Making (For a change!)? Then stop dwelling over the What-Might-Have-Beens and join me. Share your thoughts here, comment on mine, and let’s do this together!

Hobbies are good for your Health!
