I’ve realized as I age, I’m giving a little too much credit to the adage, “With age comes Wisdom.” I think when it comes to my own life, I’m a “know-it-all”. It makes it easier to get through the day, (not to mention the night) but is it the BEST WAY I could be thinking right now? I came to the conclusion today that I often decide I know the outcome 100% before I ever take the first step. This is paralyzing. When it comes to trying new things, putting myself out there, I find myself thinking, “Why bother?” instead of “Why not?”
I have gotten too comfortable with this “Why bother?” way of living. If you are also stuck in this attitude, I urge you to try not thinking that way every time a new experience is presented to you. And I challenge you to actually DO the NEW THING AND SEE WHAT HAPPENS. Because when you do, you will see possibilities you never saw before. And the more of them you start to see, the more of them will come your way.
We all go through major life transitions when relationships end… Through this website, I will share my thoughts as I walk the path of “New-Self” discovery. It doesn’t matter which side of 50 you are on. The real question is, Are you ready to live life? To forge a Path of Your Own Making (For a change!)? Then stop dwelling over the What-Might-Have-Beens and join me. Share your thoughts here, comment on mine, and let’s do this together!
