There’s Something About Spring That Makes Me Resentful

There’s something about spring that makes me resentful.😠I know birds sing, flowers bloom, butterflies, and ladybugs🐞should reside on the main screen of my Lifepad, but they don’t.

Springtime is a time of renewal and all that. But there’s this itch. A yucky irritation in the back of my brain. The brain-part that dwells in the seasons past. The shrieky-snowy ones. The door-slammed as dead leaves fell ones.

“For this Leftat50, it’s called, ‘The Unsaid Things List.’ Pretty self explanatory.”

It makes me cranky.

Even though it seems stupid and time-wasting, I did some automatic writing about it. That’s where you clear your crabby head and scrawl pen to paper📝. It’s supposed to release the ugliness. That hose you need to empty of resentments so you can flow again.

For this Leftat50, it’s called, “The Unsaid Things List.” Pretty self explanatory.
“I won’t wish horrible things on you but…”

I am sure you ladies can fill in that one. And fill and fill. And fill.

Did I say “fill?”

This list is something that will never be shown to anyone, of course. No one needs to know how dark a gal can go.

Nevertheless, it’s an important exercise.

Think of your hateful feelings towards your Ex as “cellulite of the brain.” We all have it and don’t need to judge ourselves for it.

They say some things are better left unsaid, but no one said we couldn’t write them down in bright red marker in huge letters whenever we feel like it, did they?

Have at it.😈

We all go through major life transitions when relationships end… Through this website, I will share my thoughts as I walk the path of “New-Self” discovery. It doesn’t matter which side of 50 you are on. The real question is, Are you ready to live life? To forge a Path of Your Own Making (For a change!)? Then stop dwelling over the What-Might-Have-Beens and join me. Share your thoughts here, comment on mine, and let’s do this together!
