Our Near Miss Leads To Our Bliss!

We have survived due to our near miss.

If we hadn’t been Leftat50, we would have nearly missed out on living an ecstatic life. How unfair would that have been?

Because you know what we didn’t miss? We didn’t miss out on that soul-killing, loveless marriage “until death do we part”. In truth, we parted much sooner than that. Hoo-ray!

Ladies, we truly are a pack of lucky gals. Even through all the loss, pain, and distrust of our own instincts, we know on some level that none of that chaotic thinking or self-doubt is who we are today.

Right now. This moment. We are realizing that longing for our expired relationship would be like digging in the garbage to feed ourselves with yesterday’s scraps. We can no longer choke it down.

Nourishing our hearts and souls with the most luscious morsels of experience life has to offer is where we live today. Each day excitedly realizing that there is going to be an endless amount of new strides of our own making!

I know that holidays can be tough. If tears have been falling lately, keep this post with you. You need a little reminder every now and then that you have been the recipient of a Happy-Life Miracle. Nudge yourself to imprint that deeply into your psyche. The taste buds that have been numbed for so long will come to appreciate the exquisite flavors of this new feast, called Your Life!

Dash through the snow, be holly-jolly. Jingle some bells. You’ve pulled your sled up the big hill. Time to hop aboard and joyously slide down, arms raised, hooting and hollering over all you’ve made it through!

We all go through major life transitions when relationships end… Through this website, I will share my thoughts as I walk the path of “New-Self” discovery. It doesn’t matter which side of 50 you are on. The real question is, Are you ready to live life? To forge a Path of Your Own Making (For a change!)? Then stop dwelling over the What-Might-Have-Beens and join me. Share your thoughts here, comment on mine, and let’s do this together!
