When I was left, I was certain my Life was over. In reality, what was over was The Crappy Life I’d Been Living. When you look at it that way, the tears eventually stop. They do. You must get past the idea that The Truth (You Were Left) hurts, and get into the idea that The Truth Will Set You Free. Because, guess what? IT ALREADY HAS!!!! YOU ARE FREE! Of the Distrust, The Heartache, The Yelling, The Silent Treatment, The Exhaustion for all the things you were going to have to confront, and change and DEAL WITH. If some of you are not exactly at that place yet, take comfort in knowing that soon YOU WILL BE.
Don’t you feel just a little lighter in your step these days? When you think of Your New Future, tears are not the first thing that happen, are they? Hmmm…interesting. That’s not a sad thing at all, is it? Even if you cry later today, or on your pillow tonight, I doubt you woke up in that Teary Fear Mode today. Right? Some rays of sun came through. Even while you were sleeping you got over it just a little, tiny bit. You want to know why? Here’s a little secret – Happiness Is An Inside Job.
