You’ve been through a lot. Trauma. Heartbreak. Relocating. Sleepless nights. Tons of tears. Tons of swearing at yourself, or him, or both. You’ve sweated through the changes that had to happen for this relationship to actually, truly, be over. Dotted lines signed. Suitcases packed. New key put in new lock. Turn it. Open the door. You don’t have to pick a path instantaneously. You can take a pause. Live in the space of now instead of the space of what’s next. Take a moment and look how far you’ve come!! Celebrate this uncertainty instead of quaking in your boots about it. You’re a grown woman. Strong. Intelligent. Take a deep breath. Breathe in the freedom that this moment holds for you. Each day now, from here on out, you are free. To think your own thoughts. To make your dreams come true. No compromises. Just. Your. Dreams. Your dreams to live out! I am so proud of each and every one of you. I have all the same doubts and fears and hopes and dreams that you have. And I am so glad to know that I am not alone in this.
